Gleich drei Stück habe ich fertigbekommen in letzter Zeit. Gut, zwei sind auch total simpel, aber gehäkelt werden müssen sie ja trotzdem erstmal. Noch sieben, und dann hab ich einwas für’s Haus fertig. I’ve finished the grand total of three potholders recently. Admittedly, two are pretty simpel but it still takes time to crochet them. Now only seven more until I can count them as one item for the house.

Wolle / Yarn: Gründl Baumwolle Ich werde aus dem Crochet Block-A-Month wieder aussteigen. Wenn ich Grannys häkle, müssen die am Ende gleich groß sein, damit ich sie problemlos zu einer Decke zusammenfügen kann. Mit ungleichen Teilen kann ich irgendwie nicht leben. Ich weiß, ich hab eine Macke, aber so ist es eben. Für die Wolle hab ich aber schon eine andere Verwendung gefunden: I will back out of the Crochet Block-A-Month again. When crocheting grannys, I want them to be all the same size so I can easily join them for a blanket. Stupid as it may sound, I simply can’t live with pieces in different sizes. So I’ve decided to put the yarn to a better use:
Das werden am Ende Hexagons, allerdings muß ich dafür erst noch hellgraue Wolle kaufen, denn die letzten Runden werden hellgrau. Sieht richtig klasse aus, und ich kann vor allem sogar noch ganz kleine Reste aufbrauchen, weil die einzelnen Runden nicht so sehr viel Wolle brauchen. Gesehen hier und sofort adoptiert (bissi scrollen bitte, bis ungefähr zur Mitte der Seite). These are going to be hexagons as soon as I’ve bought light grey yarn, the last round of each is done in light grey. Looks fabulous, and I can use up even small scraps of yarn because the rounds don’t take up that much yarn. Nur gut, daß es schon wieder schneit, bei dem Mistwetter kann man eh nichts weiter tun als häkeln. Glad it’s snowing again, there really isn’t much else to do than crochet in this bad weather.
Ich habe mich für den 2012 Crochet Block A Month CAL bei Ravelry angemeldet. Bis er anfängt, amüsiere ich mich mal mit diesem Granny aus dem diesjährigen CAL. I joined the 2012 Crochet Block A Month CAL over at Ravelry. Until it begins, I’m having fun with one of this year’s blocks.
Aufgrund unvorhergesehener Umstände, die einen Sturz, mein Gesicht und einen Türrahmen beinhalteten, kam ich am Wochenende leider doch nicht zum Häkeln. Dafür werde ich in den kommenden Tagen umso mehr Zeit dafür haben, ebenfalls aufgrund bereits erwähnter Umstände. Und habe mir vorgenommen, endlich mal das hier fertigzustellen: Due to unforeseen circumstances which included a fall, my face and a door frame, I didn’t get to do any crocheting during the weekend. On the plus side, due to aforementioned circumstances, I’ll have lots and lots of quality crocheting time in the coming days. Hence I decided to finally finish this piece:
Es liegt hier schon so lange, ich hatte es fast schon vergessen. Eine Seite ist schon fertig, die andere Seite dagegen … It has been lying around for so long that I had almost forgotten it exists. One side is already done but the other side …
Lauter lustige kleine Fädchen zu vernähen. Hach wie ich mich darauf freue. Nicht! Aber wer Kissen haben will, muß lernen, mit den Fäden fertigzuwerden. Und es ist ja nicht so, als hätte ich diese Woche sehr viel aufregendere Pläne. ;-) All those cute little ends to weave in. How I’ve been looking forward to that. Not! But hey, she who wants pillows will have to learn to get even with the lose ends. And it’s not really like I’ve got more exciting plans for the week. ;-)

Aufgabenstellung: Decke für die Leseecke, bevorzugt aus Sockenwolleresten, speziell aus den kürzeren Resten, die nicht mehr ganz für eine Schalreihe reichen. Suche bei Ravelry ergab: Ten Stitch Zigzag by Frankie Brown (Ravelry-Link). Macht Spaß, sieht ganz witzig aus, allerdings habe ich 14 Maschen und entsprechend auch 14 Ridges pro Streifen gewählt. Problem definition: blanket for reading corner, preferably done in double-stranded sock yarn, at best using up the bits that are too short for a scarf row. Solution as per Ravelry: Ten Stitch Zigzag by Frankie Brown (Ravelry link). It’s fun, it looks lovely, only I’ve decided on 14 stitches and 14 ridges accordingly. |
