Also, aktuell habe ich vor mir liegen:
- 71 Kreise mit dunkelgrau
- 28 Kreise mit weiß
Dazu kommt eine unbekannte Anzahl bunter Innenkreise, die mochte ich jetzt aber nicht auch noch zählen. Dürften aber wohl nochmal so 30 sein. (Ich häkle immer einen Schwung auf Vorrat, das geht schneller, als jeden Kreis einzeln für die Decke anzuhäkeln.) An der Decke dran sind bereits auch so 30. Und gesamt brauche ich ca 400 Hexagons. Zumindest ist das das vorläufige Ziel, die Decke 20 x 20 Hexagons groß zu machen. Je nachdem, wie stark sich die Hexagons zusammenziehen, kann es aber auch sein, daß sie noch etwas größer wird. Sie soll auf jeden Fall so groß werden, daß der Lieblingsehemann und ich uns beim TV schauen zusammen drunterkuscheln können. Und da er unwesentlich größer ist als ich Sitzriese, muß die Decke natürlich auch unwesentlich größer werden als für mich allein.
Nein, wir denken jetzt lieber nicht darüber nach, daß jedes Hexagon aus vier Farben besteht und somit pro Hexagon acht Fäden zu vernähen sind, und wir multiplizieren die Anzahl der Fäden pro Hexagon auf gar keinen Fall mit der Gesamtanzahl der Hexagons …
Just a few statistics for those of you who had asked. :-))
So, right now I have the following circles ready at hand:
- 71 circles with dark grey
- 28 circles with white
Plus an unknown number of inner circles in various colours that I just didn’t feel like counting right now. I’d estimate them to be somewhat around 30. (I always prepare a batch of cirles because it’s faster that way than producing each and every circle individually when adding them to the blanket.) There are about 30 hexagons so far in the blanket. And I will need about 400 in total. At least my current goal is to make it 20 x 20 hexagons big. I might add some more, though, if the hexagons turn out to shrink in the process. I want the blanket to be big enough for Favourite Husband and me to cuddle under when we watch TV. And as he’s not exactly as vertically challenged as I am, it needs to be slightly bigger than it would have to be for just me.
No, we’re not going to think about how each hexagon is made of four colours and thus there are eight ends to darn in for every hexagon, and most importantly, we’re definitely not going to multiply the number of ends per hexagon with the total amount of hexagons needed …
