Um sechs aufgewacht mit Rückenschmerzen. Mich irgendwie wieder geradegebogen und doch noch mal eingeschlafen. Um viertel nach acht aufgewacht mit Kopfweh. Beschlossen, mich allenfalls bis zum Sofa zu schleppen und es dabei zu belassen. Schließlich ist Sonntag und nichts so dringend, daß es nicht bis morgen warten könnte.

Woke up around six with a pain in my back. Somehow managed to unbend and even fall asleep again. Woke up again at 8:15 with a headache. Decided to drag humble self downstairs to the sofa and call it a day. Nothing can be so urgent that it couldn’t wait another day.

Was ich aber gar nicht haben kann, ist untätig auf dem Sofa herumliegen, Kopfschmerzen hin oder her. Schon gar nicht, wo ich doch so einige WIPs herumliegen habe. Nun ja … mit ein bißchen Glück wird der Pulli heute noch fertig. Und wer weiß … vielleicht schaffe ich auch noch den Schal?

I just can’t stand lying around on the sofa with nothing to do, headache or not. Especially not with all those WIPs flying around the house. Well … if I’m lucky I might actually finish the sweater today. And who knows … maybe even the new scarf?

Liebe Häkelnadel, vielen Dank für Deine Kommentare und die liebe Postkarte! Ich bin schon gespannt auf Deine Version von Decke und Kissen (irgendwann in den kommenden Tagen stelle ich mal noch bessere Bilder ins Blog) und natürlich auch auf Dich. Im Moment habe ich noch keine Ahnung, wer Du sein könntest. :-))

Häkelnadel is my swap partner in the Knit ‘n’ Sip 007 swap and not only did she leave comments in the blog, she also sent me a lovely postcard (I mentioned my collection in the swap questionnaire), such a lovely surprise! It’s a secret swap and I have no idea who she is, I’m so looking forward to finding out. :-))

So, da bin ich wieder. Oh, Entschuldigung, hab ich Euch erschreckt? Ihr hattet jetzt nicht mit mir gerechnet, oder? Mein Fehler – ich hätte klopfen sollen. :-))

Well, I’m back. Oh sorry, did I startle you? You didn’t expect me, did you? My fault – I should have knocked first. :-))

Hier hat sich ein bißchen was geändert,  das Blog hat einen neuen Namen und ein neues Design. Der alte Name und das alte Design gefielen mir nicht mehr. Der Name war eigentlich eh nur eine Notlösung, nachdem ich ja versehentlich mein altes Blog mitsamt Datenbank unrettbar zerschossen hatte. Einen neuen Namen zu finden, der zu mir paßt, war dann aber doch nicht ganz so einfach wie erwartet. Freitag morgen beim Aufstehen machte es dann auf einmal “klick” und ich hatte den richtigen Namen: “Live. Learn. Grow.” Leben, lernen, wachsen – genau das, was ich tue und was mir wichtig ist. Etwas Neues lernen, etwas ausprobieren, daraus etwas für mich mitnehmen, daran wachsen.In letzter Zeit habe ich viel Neues ausprobiert, und noch einiges mehr steht auf der Liste. Das eine oder andere davon kann ich Euch zeigen, manches muß ich erst noch besser lernen und einiges wird vielleicht auch einfach nur ein einmaliger Versuch bleiben, wer weiß. Auf jeden Fall wird es wieder ein bißchen belebter werden hier im Blog.

Some things have changed over here, the blog has got a new name and design. I just couldn’t stand the old name and design anymore. The name was a mere compromise anyway as I needed a new name fast after accidentally messing up my old blog and all the data. Yet finding a new name wasn’t as easy as one would expect. I wanted something that would fit me like a glove. Friday morning when I got up, something clicked and out of nowhere came the perfect name: “Live. Learn. Grow.” That’s exactly what I do, and what is important to me. To try something new, keep learning, grow as a person. I’ve tried several new to me things recently, and many more are on the list. Some of it will find its way into the blog, some I’ll have to put some more effort into first,  and some will just be a mere fancy, who knows. Anyway, I’m back to blogging.
